Matthew Layag Art
Matthew Layag is a San Francisco Bay Area based artist. He is a graduate at San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Studio Practice. His art education formally began at 12 years old when he began taking art classes in the latter half of middle school and all throughout high school. Matthew’s personal experience with depression, anxiety, and autism led him to using art to convey what it feels for him to be overstimulated and overwhelmed.
